Sustainable colour Masterbatches
IcySun, the new line of masterbatch colours developed with innovative functional pigments, specifically designed to increase the solar reflectance properties in thermoplastic products, in different colours.
Developed on a polyethylene base, they can be used in various applications for outdoor and indoor use (ex: outdoor/indoor furniture, door and window frames, automotive, children’s toys, outdoor flooring, bleacher seats, boats, bicycles, outdoor houses, internal walls,..), imparting different properties.
Application Areas
OUTDOOR
- reduce heat build-up on the product when exposed to sunlight
- make the artefact cooler to the touch during sun exposure
- contribute to the reduction of distortion, deformation and degradation of the artefact
- limit colour variations in the finished product
INDOOR
- limit heat loss by reducing heat exchange between outdoor and indoor
- used as colours for panelling, internal partitions or window frames contribute to maintaining a warmer environment in winter and a cooler one in summer by reflecting heat
- contribute to the reduction of distortion, deformation and degradation of the artefact
- limit colour variations in the finished product
Colour range
The new colour line has been developed on a polyethylene basis and offers the following grades:

- IcySun White pearl T2327
- IcySun Champagne T2328
- IcySun Ecru T2329
Sustainability
The IcySun line, thanks to the use of the latest generation of functional additives, is particularly focused on sustainability:
- gives items a longer life by reducing thermoplastic material waste
- limits heat transfer by reducing heat waste and decreasing energy consumption
- increases UV resistance on the article by using a single product during production
